The Jews always have been, and always will be God's chosen people. Even though they are in ignorance of their Messiah Jesus Christ, they will someday realize thier error and this will coincide with the greatest event in the history of the world. The establishment of the Kingdom of God, on the earth, with Jerusalem as the throne of Christ's kingdom.
Isaiah 2:2 And it shall come to pass in the last days, that the mountain of the LORD'S house shall be established in the top of the mountains, and shall be exalted above the hills; and all nations shall flow unto it. 3 And many people shall go and say, Come ye, and let us go up to the mountain of the LORD, to the house of the God of Jacob; and he will teach us of his ways, and we will walk in his paths: for out of Zion shall go forth the law, and the word of the LORD from Jerusalem.
God's selection of the Jews is not based on their righteousness or holiness, but rather because of the promises God made to Abraham which will be fulfilled when those who have been baptized are raised from the dead where they have been unconscious, judged according to how they lived thier lives, and if acceptible given eternal life and the land God has promised to all the seed of Abraham, even those who have been grafted into the seed of Abraham by baptism into the name of Jesus Christ
Galatians 3:26 For ye are all the children of God by faith in Christ Jesus. 27 For as many of you as have been baptized into Christ have put on Christ. 28 There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither bond nor free, there is neither male nor female: for ye are all one in Christ Jesus. 29 And if ye be Christ's, then are ye Abraham's seed, and heirs according to the promise.
Almost all of the “Christian” religions believe that God has abandoned the Jews and accepted them in the place of the Jews. The bible is clear that God has not thrown away the Jews forever.
