Exodous 12:48 And when a stranger shall sojourn with thee, and will keepthe passover to the LORD, let all his males be circumcised, and then lethim come near and keep it; and he shall be as one that is born in the land:for no uncircumcised person shall eat thereof.
49 One law shall be to him that is homeborn, and unto the stranger thatsojourneth among you.
50 Thus did all the children of Israel; as the LORD commanded Moses andAaron, so did they.
51 And it came to pass the selfsame day, that the LORD did bring the childrenof Israel out of the land of Egypt by their armies.

12 Speak unto the children of Israel, and say unto them, If any man's wifego aside, and commit a trespass against him,
13 And a man lie with her carnally, and it be hid from the eyes of her husband,and be kept close, and she be defiled, and there be no witness against her,neither she be taken with the manner;
14 And the spirit of jealousy come upon him, and he be jealous of his wife,and she be defiled: or if the spirit of jealousy come upon him, and he bejealous of his wife, and she be not defiled:
15 Then shall the man bring his wife unto the priest, and he shall bringher offering for her, the tenth part of an ephah of barley meal; he shallpour no oil upon it, nor put frankincense thereon; for it is an offeringof jealousy, an offering of memorial, bringing iniquity to remembrance.
16 And the priest shall bring her near, and set her before the LORD:
17 And the priest shall take holy water in an earthen vessel; and of thedust that is in the floor of the tabernacle the priest shall take, and putit into the water:
18 And the priest shall set the woman before the LORD, and uncover the woman'shead, and put the offering of memorial in her hands, which is the jealousyoffering: and the priest shall have in his hand the bitter water that causeththe curse:
19 And the priest shall charge her by an oath, and say unto the woman, Ifno man have lain with thee, and if thou hast not gone aside to uncleannesswith another instead of thy husband, be thou free from this bitter waterthat causeth the curse:
20 But if thou hast gone aside to another instead of thy husband, and ifthou be defiled, and some man have lain with thee beside thine husband:
21 Then the priest shall charge the woman with an oath of cursing, and thepriest shall say unto the woman, The LORD make thee a curse and an oathamong thy people, when the LORD doth make thy thigh to rot, and thy bellyto swell;
22 And this water that causeth the curse shall go into thy bowels, to makethy belly to swell, and thy thigh to rot: And the woman shall say, Amen,amen.
23 And the priest shall write these curses in a book, and he shall blotthem out with the bitter water:
24 And he shall cause the woman to drink the bitter water that causeth thecurse: and the water that causeth the curse shall enter into her, and becomebitter.
25 Then the priest shall take the jealousy offering out of the woman's hand,and shall wave the offering before the LORD, and offer it upon the altar:
26 And the priest shall take an handful of the offering, even the memorialthereof, and burn it upon the altar, and afterward shall cause the womanto drink the water.
27 And when he hath made her to drink the water, then it shall come to pass,that, if she be defiled, and have done trespass against her husband, thatthe water that causeth the curse shall enter into her, and become bitter,and her belly shall swell, and her thigh shall rot: and the woman shallbe a curse among her people.
28 And if the woman be not defiled, but be clean; then she shall be free,and shall conceive seed.
29 This is the law of jealousies, when a wife goeth aside to another insteadof her husband, and is defiled;
30 Or when the spirit of jealousy cometh upon him, and he be jealous overhis wife, and shall set the woman before the LORD, and the priest shallexecute upon her all this law.
31 Then shall the man be guiltless from iniquity, and this woman shall bearher iniquity.

Deuteronomy 5:18 Neither shalt thou commit adultery.

Deuteronomy 24:1 When a man hath taken a wife, and married her, and it cometo pass that she find no favour in his eyes, because he hath found someuncleanness in her: then let him write her a bill of divorcement, and giveit in her hand, and send her out of his house.
2 And when she is departed out of his house, she may go and be another man'swife.
3 And if the latter husband hate her, and write her a bill of divorcement,and giveth it in her hand, and sendeth her out of his house; or if the latterhusband die, which took her to be his wife;
4 Her former husband, which sent her away, may not take her again to behis wife, after that she is defiled; for that is abomination before theLORD: and thou shalt not cause the land to sin, which the LORD thy God giveththee for an inheritance.

2 Samuel 11:1 And it came to pass, after the year was expired, at the timewhen kings go forth to battle, that David sent Joab, and his servants withhim, and all Israel; and they destroyed the children of Ammon, and besiegedRabbah. But David tarried still at Jerusalem.
2 And it came to pass in an eveningtide, that David arose from off his bed,and walked upon the roof of the king's house: and from the roof he saw awoman washing herself; and the woman was very beautiful to look upon.
3 And David sent and enquired after the woman. And one said, Is not thisBathsheba, the daughter of Eliam, the wife of Uriah the Hittite?
4 And David sent messengers, and took her; and she came in unto him, andhe lay with her; for she was purified from her uncleanness: and she returnedunto her house.
5 And the woman conceived, and sent and told David, and said, I am withchild.
6 And David sent to Joab, saying, Send me Uriah the Hittite. And Joab sentUriah to David.
7 And when Uriah was come unto him, David demanded of him how Joab did,and how the people did, and how the war prospered.
8 And David said to Uriah, Go down to thy house, and wash thy feet. AndUriah departed out of the king's house, and there followed him a mess ofmeat from the king.
9 But Uriah slept at the door of the king's house with all the servantsof his lord, and went not down to his house.
10 And when they had told David, saying, Uriah went not down unto his house,David said unto Uriah, Camest thou not from thy journey? why then didstthou not go down unto thine house?
11 And Uriah said unto David, The ark, and Israel, and Judah, abide in tents;and my lord Joab, and the servants of my lord, are encamped in the openfields; shall I then go into mine house, to eat and to drink, and to liewith my wife? as thou livest, and as thy soul liveth, I will not do thisthing.
12 And David said to Uriah, Tarry here to day also, and to morrow I willlet thee depart. So Uriah abode in Jerusalem that day, and the morrow.
13 And when David had called him, he did eat and drink before him; and hemade him drunk: and at even he went out to lie on his bed with the servantsof his lord, but went not down to his house.
14 And it came to pass in the morning, that David wrote a letter to Joab,and sent it by the hand of Uriah.
15 And he wrote in the letter, saying, Set ye Uriah in the forefront ofthe hottest battle, and retire ye from him, that he may be smitten, anddie.
16 And it came to pass, when Joab observed the city, that he assigned Uriahunto a place where he knew that valiant men were.

Job 24:15 The eye also of the adulterer waiteth for the twilight, saying,No eye shall see me: and disguiseth his face.

Job 31:9 If mine heart have been deceived by a woman, or if I have laidwait at my neighbour's door;
10 Then let my wife grind unto another, and let others bow down upon her.
11 For this is an heinous crime; yea, it is an iniquity to be punished bythe judges.
12 For it is a fire that consumeth to destruction, and would root out allmine increase.

Proverbs 2:11 Discretion shall preserve thee, understanding shall keep thee:
12 To deliver thee from the way of the evil man, from the man that speakethfroward things;
13 Who leave the paths of uprightness, to walk in the ways of darkness;
14 Who rejoice to do evil, and delight in the frowardness of the wicked;
15 Whose ways are crooked, and they froward in their paths:
16 To deliver thee from the strange woman, even from the stranger whichflattereth with her words;
17 Which forsaketh the guide of her youth, and forgetteth the covenant ofher God.
18 For her house inclineth unto death, and her paths unto the dead.
19 None that go unto her return again, neither take they hold of the pathsof life.
20 That thou mayest walk in the way of good men, and keep the paths of therighteous.
21 For the upright shall dwell in the land, and the perfect shall remainin it.
22 But the wicked shall be cut off from the earth, and the transgressorsshall be rooted out of it.

Proverbs 6:24 To keep thee from the evil woman, from the flattery of thetongue of a strange woman.
25 Lust not after her beauty in thine heart; neither let her take thee withher eyelids.
26 For by means of a whorish woman a man is brought to a piece of bread:and the adulteress will hunt for the precious life.
27 Can a man take fire in his bosom, and his clothes not be burned?
28 Can one go upon hot coals, and his feet not be burned?
29 So he that goeth in to his neighbour's wife; whosoever toucheth her shallnot be innocent.
30 Men do not despise a thief, if he steal to satisfy his soul when he ishungry;
31 But if he be found, he shall restore sevenfold; he shall give all thesubstance of his house.
32 But whoso committeth adultery with a woman lacketh understanding: hethat doeth it destroyeth his own soul.
33 A wound and dishonour shall he get; and his reproach shall not be wipedaway.
34 For jealousy is the rage of a man: therefore he will not spare in theday of vengeance.
35 He will not regard any ransom; neither will he rest content, though thougivest many gifts.

Proverbs 7:21 With her much fair speech she caused him to yield, with theflattering of her lips she forced him.
22 He goeth after her straightway, as an ox goeth to the slaughter, or asa fool to the correction of the stocks;
23 Till a dart strike through his liver; as a bird hasteth to the snare,and knoweth not that it is for his life.
24 Hearken unto me now therefore, O ye children, and attend to the wordsof my mouth.
25 Let not thine heart decline to her ways, go not astray in her paths.
26 For she hath cast down many wounded: yea, many strong men have been slainby her.
27 Her house is the way to hell, going down to the chambers of death.

Proverbs 9:13 A foolish woman is clamorous: she is simple, and knoweth nothing.
14 For she sitteth at the door of her house, on a seat in the high placesof the city,
15 To call passengers who go right on their ways:
16 Whoso is simple, let him turn in hither: and as for him that wantethunderstanding, she saith to him,
17 Stolen waters are sweet, and bread eaten in secret is pleasant.
18 But he knoweth not that the dead are there; and that her guests are inthe depths of hell.

Proverbs 23:27 For a whore is a deep ditch; and a strange woman is a narrowpit.
28 She also lieth in wait as for a prey, and increaseth the transgressorsamong men.

Jeremiah 3:1 They say, If a man put away his wife, and she go from him,and become another man's, shall he return unto her again? shall not thatland be greatly polluted? but thou hast played the harlot with many lovers;yet return again to me, saith the LORD.
2 Lift up thine eyes unto the high places, and see where thou hast not beenlien with. In the ways hast thou sat for them, as the Arabian in the wilderness;and thou hast polluted the land with thy whoredoms and with thy wickedness.

Jeremiah 3:20 Surely as a wife treacherously departeth from her husband,so have ye dealt treacherously with me, O house of Israel, saith the LORD.

Jeremiah 23:1 Woe be unto the pastors that destroy and scatter the sheepof my pasture! saith the LORD.
2 Therefore thus saith the LORD God of Israel against the pastors that feedmy people; Ye have scattered my flock, and driven them away, and have notvisited them: behold, I will visit upon you the evil of your doings, saiththe LORD.
3 And I will gather the remnant of my flock out of all countries whitherI have driven them, and will bring them again to their folds; and they shallbe fruitful and increase.
4 And I will set up shepherds over them which shall feed them: and theyshall fear no more, nor be dismayed, neither shall they be lacking, saiththe LORD.
5 Behold, the days come, saith the LORD, that I will raise unto David arighteous Branch, and a King shall reign and prosper, and shall executejudgment and justice in the earth.
6 In his days Judah shall be saved, and Israel shall dwell safely: and thisis his name whereby he shall be called, THE LORD OUR RIGHTEOUSNESS.
7 Therefore, behold, the days come, saith the LORD, that they shall no moresay, The LORD liveth, which brought up the children of Israel out of theland of Egypt;
8 But, The LORD liveth, which brought up and which led the seed of the houseof Israel out of the north country, and from all countries whither I haddriven them; and they shall dwell in their own land.
9 Mine heart within me is broken because of the prophets; all my bones shake;I am like a drunken man, and like a man whom wine hath overcome, becauseof the LORD, and because of the words of his holiness.
10 For the land is full of adulterers; for because of swearing the landmourneth; the pleasant places of the wilderness are dried up, and theircourse is evil, and their force is not right.
11 For both prophet and priest are profane; yea, in my house have I foundtheir wickedness, saith the LORD.
12 Wherefore their way shall be unto them as slippery ways in the darkness:they shall be driven on, and fall therein: for I will bring evil upon them,even the year of their visitation, saith the LORD.
13 And I have seen folly in the prophets of Samaria; they prophesied inBaal, and caused my people Israel to err.
14 I have seen also in the prophets of Jerusalem an horrible thing: theycommit adultery, and walk in lies: they strengthen also the hands of evildoers,that none doth return from his wickedness; they are all of them unto meas Sodom, and the inhabitants thereof as Gomorrah.
15 Therefore thus saith the LORD of hosts concerning the prophets; Behold,I will feed them with wormwood, and make them drink the water of gall: forfrom the prophets of Jerusalem is profaneness gone forth into all the land.
16 Thus saith the LORD of hosts, Hearken not unto the words of the prophetsthat prophesy unto you: they make you vain: they speak a vision of theirown heart, and not out of the mouth of the LORD.

Ezekiel 18:1 The word of the LORD came unto me again, saying,
2 What mean ye, that ye use this proverb concerning the land of Israel,saying, The fathers have eaten sour grapes, and the children's teeth areset on edge?
3 As I live, saith the Lord GOD, ye shall not have occasion any more touse this proverb in Israel.
4 Behold, all souls are mine; as the soul of the father, so also the soulof the son is mine: the soul that sinneth, it shall die.
5 But if a man be just, and do that which is lawful and right,
6 And hath not eaten upon the mountains, neither hath lifted up his eyesto the idols of the house of Israel, neither hath defiled his neighbour'swife, neither hath come near to a menstruous woman,
7 And hath not oppressed any, but hath restored to the debtor his pledge,hath spoiled none by violence, hath given his bread to the hungry, and hathcovered the naked with a garment;
8 He that hath not given forth upon usury, neither hath taken any increase,that hath withdrawn his hand from iniquity, hath executed true judgmentbetween man and man,
9 Hath walked in my statutes, and hath kept my judgments, to deal truly;he is just, he shall surely live, saith the Lord GOD.
10 If he beget a son that is a robber, a shedder of blood, and that doeththe like to any one of these things,
11 And that doeth not any of those duties, but even hath eaten upon themountains, and defiled his neighbour's wife,
12 Hath oppressed the poor and needy, hath spoiled by violence, hath notrestored the pledge, and hath lifted up his eyes to the idols, hath committedabomination,
13 Hath given forth upon usury, and hath taken increase: shall he then live?he shall not live: he hath done all these abominations; he shall surelydie; his blood shall be upon him.

Ezekiel 18:21 But if the wicked will turn from all his sins that he hathcommitted, and keep all my statutes, and do that which is lawful and right,he shall surely live, he shall not die.
22 All his transgressions that he hath committed, they shall not be mentionedunto him: in his righteousness that he hath done he shall live.
23 Have I any pleasure at all that the wicked should die? saith the LordGOD: and not that he should return from his ways, and live?
24 But when the righteous turneth away from his righteousness, and committethiniquity, and doeth according to all the abominations that the wicked mandoeth, shall he live? All his righteousness that he hath done shall notbe mentioned: in his trespass that he hath trespassed, and in his sin thathe hath sinned, in them shall he die.

Ezekiel 18:26 When a righteous man turneth away from his righteousness,and committeth iniquity, and dieth in them; for his iniquity that he hathdone shall he die.
27 Again, when the wicked man turneth away from his wickedness that he hathcommitted, and doeth that which is lawful and right, he shall save his soulalive.
28 Because he considereth, and turneth away from all his transgressionsthat he hath committed, he shall surely live, he shall not die.

Hosea 4:1 Hear the word of the LORD, ye children of Israel: for the LORDhath a controversy with the inhabitants of the land, because there is notruth, nor mercy, nor knowledge of God in the land.
2 By swearing, and lying, and killing, and stealing, and committing adultery,they break out, and blood toucheth blood.
3 Therefore shall the land mourn, and every one that dwelleth therein shalllanguish, with the beasts of the field, and with the fowls of heaven; yea,the fishes of the sea also shall be taken away.

Amos 2:7 That pant after the dust of the earth on the head of the poor,and turn aside the way of the meek: and a man and his father will go inunto the same maid, to profane my holy name:

Matthew 5:27 Ye have heard that it was said by them of old time, Thou shaltnot commit adultery:
28 But I say unto you, That whosoever looketh on a woman to lust after herhath committed adultery with her already in his heart.
29 And if thy right eye offend thee, pluck it out, and cast it from thee:for it is profitable for thee that one of thy members should perish, andnot that thy whole body should be cast into hell.
30 And if thy right hand offend thee, cut it off, and cast it from thee:for it is profitable for thee that one of thy members should perish, andnot that thy whole body should be cast into hell.
31 It hath been said, Whosoever shall put away his wife, let him give hera writing of divorcement:
32 But I say unto you, That whosoever shall put away his wife, saving forthe cause of fornication, causeth her to commit adultery: and whosoevershall marry her that is divorced committeth adultery.

Matthew 15:16 And Jesus said, Are ye also yet without understanding?
17 Do not ye yet understand, that whatsoever entereth in at the mouth goethinto the belly, and is cast out into the draught?
18 But those things which proceed out of the mouth come forth from the heart;and they defile the man.
19 For out of the heart proceed evil thoughts, murders, adulteries, fornications,thefts, false witness, blasphemies:
20 These are the things which defile a man: but to eat with unwashen handsdefileth not a man.

Matthew 19:1 And it came to pass, that when Jesus had finished these sayings,he departed from Galilee, and came into the coasts of Judaea beyond Jordan;
2 And great multitudes followed him; and he healed them there.
3 The Pharisees also came unto him, tempting him, and saying unto him, Isit lawful for a man to put away his wife for every cause?
4 And he answered and said unto them, Have ye not read, that he which madethem at the beginning made them male and female,
5 And said, For this cause shall a man leave father and mother, and shallcleave to his wife: and they twain shall be one flesh?
6 Wherefore they are no more twain, but one flesh. What therefore God hathjoined together, let not man put asunder.
7 They say unto him, Why did Moses then command to give a writing of divorcement,and to put her away?
8 He saith unto them, Moses because of the hardness of your hearts sufferedyou to put away your wives: but from the beginning it was not so.
9 And I say unto you, Whosoever shall put away his wife, except it be forfornication, and shall marry another, committeth adultery: and whoso marriethher which is put away doth commit adultery.
10 His disciples say unto him, If the case of the man be so with his wife,it is not good to marry.
11 But he said unto them, All men cannot receive this saying, save theyto whom it is given.
12 For there are some eunuchs, which were so born from their mother's womb:and there are some eunuchs, which were made eunuchs of men: and there beeunuchs, which have made themselves eunuchs for the kingdom of heaven'ssake. He that is able to receive it, let him receive it.

Matthew 19:16 And, behold, one came and said unto him, Good Master, whatgood thing shall I do, that I may have eternal life?
17 And he said unto him, Why callest thou me good? there is none good butone, that is, God: but if thou wilt enter into life, keep the commandments.
18 He saith unto him, Which? Jesus said, Thou shalt do no murder, Thou shaltnot commit adultery, Thou shalt not steal, Thou shalt not bear false witness,
19 Honour thy father and thy mother: and, Thou shalt love thy neighbouras thyself.

Mark 10:1 And he arose from thence, and cometh into the coasts of Judaeaby the farther side of Jordan: and the people resort unto him again; and,as he was wont, he taught them again.
2 And the Pharisees came to him, and asked him, Is it lawful for a man toput away his wife? tempting him.
3 And he answered and said unto them, What did Moses command you?
4 And they said, Moses suffered to write a bill of divorcement, and to puther away.
5 And Jesus answered and said unto them, For the hardness of your hearthe wrote you this precept.
6 But from the beginning of the creation God made them male and female.
7 For this cause shall a man leave his father and mother, and cleave tohis wife;
8 And they twain shall be one flesh: so then they are no more twain, butone flesh.
9 What therefore God hath joined together, let not man put asunder.
10 And in the house his disciples asked him again of the same matter.
11 And he saith unto them, Whosoever shall put away his wife, and marryanother, committeth adultery against her.
12 And if a woman shall put away her husband, and be married to another,she committeth adultery.

Mark 10:17 And when he was gone forth into the way, there came one running,and kneeled to him, and asked him, Good Master, what shall I do that I mayinherit eternal life?
18 And Jesus said unto him, Why callest thou me good? there is none goodbut one, that is, God.
19 Thou knowest the commandments, Do not commit adultery, Do not kill, Donot steal, Do not bear false witness, Defraud not, Honour thy father andmother.
20 And he answered and said unto him, Master, all these have I observedfrom my youth.
21 Then Jesus beholding him loved him, and said unto him, One thing thoulackest: go thy way, sell whatsoever thou hast, and give to the poor, andthou shalt have treasure in heaven: and come, take up the cross, and followme.
22 And he was sad at that saying, and went away grieved: for he had greatpossessions.
23 And Jesus looked round about, and saith unto his disciples, How hardlyshall they that have riches enter into the kingdom of God!
24 And the disciples were astonished at his words. But Jesus answereth again,and saith unto them, Children, how hard is it for them that trust in richesto enter into the kingdom of God!
25 It is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle, than fora rich man to enter into the kingdom of God.
26 And they were astonished out of measure, saying among themselves, Whothen can be saved?
27 And Jesus looking upon them saith, With men it is impossible, but notwith God: for with God all things are possible.

Luke 16:10 He that is faithful in that which is least is faithful also inmuch: and he that is unjust in the least is unjust also in much.
11 If therefore ye have not been faithful in the unrighteous mammon, whowill commit to your trust the true riches?
12 And if ye have not been faithful in that which is another man's, whoshall give you that which is your own?
13 No servant can serve two masters: for either he will hate the one, andlove the other; or else he will hold to the one, and despise the other.Ye cannot serve God and mammon.
14 And the Pharisees also, who were covetous, heard all these things: andthey derided him.
15 And he said unto them, Ye are they which justify yourselves before men;but God knoweth your hearts: for that which is highly esteemed among menis abomination in the sight of God.
16 The law and the prophets were until John: since that time the kingdomof God is preached, and every man presseth into it.
17 And it is easier for heaven and earth to pass, than one tittle of thelaw to fail.
18 Whosoever putteth away his wife, and marrieth another, committeth adultery:and whosoever marrieth her that is put away from her husband committethadultery.

Luke 18:18 And a certain ruler asked him, saying, Good Master, what shallI do to inherit eternal life?
19 And Jesus said unto him, Why callest thou me good? none is good, saveone, that is, God.
20 Thou knowest the commandments, Do not commit adultery, Do not kill, Donot steal, Do not bear false witness, Honour thy father and thy mother.

John 8:2 And early in the morning he came again into the temple, and allthe people came unto him; and he sat down, and taught them.
3 And the scribes and Pharisees brought unto him a woman taken in adultery;and when they had set her in the midst,
4 They say unto him, Master, this woman was taken in adultery, in the veryact.
5 Now Moses in the law commanded us, that such should be stoned: but whatsayest thou?
6 This they said, tempting him, that they might have to accuse him. ButJesus stooped down, and with his finger wrote on the ground, as though heheard them not.
7 So when they continued asking him, he lifted up himself, and said untothem, He that is without sin among you, let him first cast a stone at her.
8 And again he stooped down, and wrote on the ground.
9 And they which heard it, being convicted by their own conscience, wentout one by one, beginning at the eldest, even unto the last: and Jesus wasleft alone, and the woman standing in the midst.
10 When Jesus had lifted up himself, and saw none but the woman, he saidunto her, Woman, where are those thine accusers? hath no man condemned thee?
11 She said, No man, Lord. And Jesus said unto her, Neither do I condemnthee: go, and sin no more.

Romans 2:17 Behold, thou art called a Jew, and restest in the law, and makestthy boast of God,
18 And knowest his will, and approvest the things that are more excellent,being instructed out of the law;
19 And art confident that thou thyself art a guide of the blind, a lightof them which are in darkness,
20 An instructor of the foolish, a teacher of babes, which hast the formof knowledge and of the truth in the law.
21 Thou therefore which teachest another, teachest thou not thyself? thouthat preachest a man should not steal, dost thou steal?
22 Thou that sayest a man should not commit adultery, dost thou commit adultery?thou that abhorrest idols, dost thou commit sacrilege?

Romans 7:1 Know ye not, brethren, (for I speak to them that know the law,)how that the law hath dominion over a man as long as he liveth?
2 For the woman which hath an husband is bound by the law to her husbandso long as he liveth; but if the husband be dead, she is loosed from thelaw of her husband.
3 So then if, while her husband liveth, she be married to another man, sheshall be called an adulteress: but if her husband be dead, she is free fromthat law; so that she is no adulteress, though she be married to anotherman.
4 Wherefore, my brethren, ye also are become dead to the law by the bodyof Christ; that ye should be married to another, even to him who is raisedfrom the dead, that we should bring forth fruit unto God.

Romans 13:8 Owe no man any thing, but to love one another: for he that lovethanother hath fulfilled the law.
9 For this, Thou shalt not commit adultery, Thou shalt not kill, Thou shaltnot steal, Thou shalt not bear false witness, Thou shalt not covet; andif there be any other commandment, it is briefly comprehended in this saying,namely, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself.
10 Love worketh no ill to his neighbour: therefore love is the fulfillingof the law.

1 Corinthians 5:1 It is reported commonly that there is fornication amongyou, and such fornication as is not so much as named among the Gentiles,that one should have his father's wife.
2 And ye are puffed up, and have not rather mourned, that he that hath donethis deed might be taken away from among you.
3 For I verily, as absent in body, but present in spirit, have judged already,as though I were present, concerning him that hath so done this deed,
4 In the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, when ye are gathered together, andmy spirit, with the power of our Lord Jesus Christ,
5 To deliver such an one unto Satan for the destruction of the flesh, thatthe spirit may be saved in the day of the Lord Jesus.
6 Your glorying is not good. Know ye not that a little leaven leaveneththe whole lump?
7 Purge out therefore the old leaven, that ye may be a new lump, as ye areunleavened. For even Christ our passover is sacrificed for us:
8 Therefore let us keep the feast, not with old leaven, neither with theleaven of malice and wickedness; but with the unleavened bread of sincerityand truth.
9 I wrote unto you in an epistle not to company with fornicators:
10 Yet not altogether with the fornicators of this world, or with the covetous,or extortioners, or with idolaters; for then must ye needs go out of theworld.
11 But now I have written unto you not to keep company, if any man thatis called a brother be a fornicator, or covetous, or an idolater, or a railer,or a drunkard, or an extortioner; with such an one no not to eat.
12 For what have I to do to judge them also that are without? do not yejudge them that are within?
13 But them that are without God judgeth. Therefore put away from amongyourselves that wicked person.

1 Corinthians 6:9 Know ye not that the unrighteous shall not inherit thekingdom of God? Be not deceived: neither fornicators, nor idolaters, noradulterers, nor effeminate, nor abusers of themselves with mankind,
10 Nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners,shall inherit the kingdom of God.

Galatians 5:19 Now the works of the flesh are manifest, which are these;Adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lasciviousness,
20 Idolatry, witchcraft, hatred, variance, emulations, wrath, strife, seditions,heresies,
21 Envyings, murders, drunkenness, revellings, and such like: of the whichI tell you before, as I have also told you in time past, that they whichdo such things shall not inherit the kingdom of God.

Ephesians 5:24 Therefore as the church is subject unto Christ, so let thewives be to their own husbands in every thing.
25 Husbands, love your wives, even as Christ also loved the church, andgave himself for it;
26 That he might sanctify and cleanse it with the washing of water by theword,
27 That he might present it to himself a glorious church, not having spot,or wrinkle, or any such thing; but that it should be holy and without blemish.

Hebrews 13:4 Marriage is honourable in all, and the bed undefiled: but whoremongersand adulterers God will judge.

James 1:12 Blessed is the man that endureth temptation: for when he is tried,he shall receive the crown of life, which the Lord hath promised to themthat love him.
13 Let no man say when he is tempted, I am tempted of God: for God cannotbe tempted with evil, neither tempteth he any man:
14 But every man is tempted, when he is drawn away of his own lust, andenticed.
15 Then when lust hath conceived, it bringeth forth sin: and sin, when itis finished, bringeth forth death.
16 Do not err, my beloved brethren.

James 4:4 Ye adulterers and adulteresses, know ye not that the friendshipof the world is enmity with God? whosoever therefore will be a friend ofthe world is the enemy of God.
5 Do ye think that the scripture saith in vain, The spirit that dwellethin us lusteth to envy?

2 Peter 2:14 Having eyes full of adultery, and that cannot cease from sin;beguiling unstable souls: an heart they have exercised with covetous practices;cursed children:
15 Which have forsaken the right way, and are gone astray, following theway of Balaam the son of Bosor, who loved the wages of unrighteousness;
16 But was rebuked for his iniquity: the dumb ass speaking with man's voiceforbad the madness of the prophet.
17 These are wells without water, clouds that are carried with a tempest;to whom the mist of darkness is reserved for ever.
18 For when they speak great swelling words of vanity, they allure throughthe lusts of the flesh, through much wantonness, those that were clean escapedfrom them who live in error.
19 While they promise them liberty, they themselves are the servants ofcorruption: for of whom a man is overcome, of the same is he brought inbondage.
20 For if after they have escaped the pollutions of the world through theknowledge of the Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ, they are again entangledtherein, and overcome, the latter end is worse with them than the beginning.
21 For it had been better for them not to have known the way of righteousness,than, after they have known it, to turn from the holy commandment deliveredunto them.
22 But it is happened unto them according to the true proverb, The dog isturned to his own vomit again; and the sow that was washed to her wallowingin the mire.
