Exodous 4:1 And Moses answered and said, But, behold, they will not believeme, nor hearken unto my voice: for they will say, The LORD hath not appearedunto thee. 2 And the LORD said unto him, What is that in thine hand? And he said, Arod. 3 And he said, Cast it on the ground. And he cast it on the ground, andit became a serpent; and Moses fled from before it. 4 And the LORD said unto Moses, Put forth thine hand, and take it by thetail. And he put forth his hand, and caught it, and it became a rod in hishand: 5 That they may believe that the LORD God of their fathers, the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob, hath appeared unto thee. 6 And the LORD said furthermore unto him, Put now thine hand into thy bosom. And he put his hand into his bosom: and when he took it out, behold, hishand was leprous as snow. 7 And he said, Put thine hand into thy bosom again. And he put his handinto his bosom again; and plucked it out of his bosom, and, behold, it wasturned again as his other flesh. 8 And it shall come to pass, if they will not believe thee, neither hearkento the voice of the first sign, that they will believe the voice of thelatter sign. 9 And it shall come to pass, if they will not believe also these two signs, neither hearken unto thy voice, that thou shalt take of the water of theriver, and pour it upon the dry land: and the water which thou takest outof the river shall become blood upon the dry land.
Acts 13:38 Be it known unto you therefore, men and brethren, that throughthis man is preached unto you the forgiveness of sins: 39 And by him all that believe are justified from all things, from whichye could not be justified by the law of Moses.
Acts 13:48 And when the Gentiles heard this, they were glad, and glorifiedthe word of the Lord: and as many as were ordained to eternal life believed.
Acts 16:25 And at midnight Paul and Silas prayed, and sang praises untoGod: and the prisoners heard them. 26 And suddenly there was a great earthquake, so that the foundations ofthe prison were shaken: and immediately all the doors were opened, and everyone's bands were loosed. 27 And the keeper of the prison awaking out of his sleep, and seeing theprison doors open, he drew out his sword, and would have killed himself, supposing that the prisoners had been fled. 28 But Paul cried with a loud voice, saying, Do thyself no harm: for weare all here. 29 Then he called for a light, and sprang in, and came trembling, and felldown before Paul and Silas, 30 And brought them out, and said, Sirs, what must I do to be saved? 31 And they said, Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved, and thy house. 32 And they spake unto him the word of the Lord, and to all that were inhis house.
Romans 1:15 So, as much as in me is, I am ready to preach the gospel toyou that are at Rome also. 16 For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power ofGod unto salvation to every one that believeth; to the Jew first, and alsoto the Greek.
Romans 3:19 Now we know that what things soever the law saith, it saithto them who are under the law: that every mouth may be stopped, and allthe world may become guilty before God. 20 Therefore by the deeds of the law there shall no flesh be justified inhis sight: for by the law is the knowledge of sin. 21 But now the righteousness of God without the law is manifested, beingwitnessed by the law and the prophets; 22 Even the righteousness of God which is by faith of Jesus Christ untoall and upon all them that believe: for there is no difference: 23 For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God; 24 Being justified freely by his grace through the redemption that is inChrist Jesus: 25 Whom God hath set forth to be a propitiation through faith in his blood,to declare his righteousness for the remission of sins that are past, throughthe forbearance of God; 26 To declare, I say, at this time his righteousness: that he might be just, and the justifier of him which believeth in Jesus.
Romans 4:1 What shall we say then that Abraham our father, as pertainingto the flesh, hath found? 2 For if Abraham were justified by works, he hath whereof to glory; butnot before God. 3 For what saith the scripture? Abraham believed God, and it was countedunto him for righteousness. 4 Now to him that worketh is the reward not reckoned of grace, but of debt. 5 But to him that worketh not, but believeth on him that justifieth theungodly, his faith is counted for righteousness. 6 Even as David also describeth the blessedness of the man, unto whom Godimputeth righteousness without works, 7 Saying, Blessed are they whose iniquities are forgiven, and whose sinsare covered. 8 Blessed is the man to whom the Lord will not impute sin.
Romans 4:16 Therefore it is of faith, that it might be by grace; to theend the promise might be sure to all the seed; not to that only which isof the law, but to that also which is of the faith of Abraham; who is thefather of us all, 17 (As it is written, I have made thee a father of many nations,) beforehim whom he believed, even God, who quickeneth the dead, and calleth thosethings which be not as though they were. 18 Who against hope believed in hope, that he might become the father ofmany nations, according to that which was spoken, So shall thy seed be. 19 And being not weak in faith, he considered not his own body now dead, when he was about an hundred years old, neither yet the deadness of Sarah'swomb: 20 He staggered not at the promise of God through unbelief; but was strongin faith, giving glory to God; 21 And being fully persuaded that, what he had promised, he was able alsoto perform. 22 And therefore it was imputed to him for righteousness.
Romans 10:6 But the righteousness which is of faith speaketh on this wise,Say not in thine heart, Who shall ascend into heaven? (that is, to bringChrist down from above:) 7 Or, Who shall descend into the deep? (that is, to bring up Christ againfrom the dead.) 8 But what saith it? The word is nigh thee, even in thy mouth, and in thyheart: that is, the word of faith, which we preach; 9 That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believein thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.
Romans 11:19 Thou wilt say then, The branches were broken off, that I mightbe graffed in. 20 Well; because of unbelief they were broken off, and thou standest byfaith. Be not highminded, but fear:
Romans 14:1 Him that is weak in the faith receive ye, but not to doubtfuldisputations. 2 For one believeth that he may eat all things: another, who is weak, eatethherbs. 3 Let not him that eateth despise him that eateth not; and let not him whicheateth not judge him that eateth: for God hath received him. 4 Who art thou that judgest another man's servant? to his own master hestandeth or falleth. Yea, he shall be holden up: for God is able to makehim stand. 5 One man esteemeth one day above another: another esteemeth every day alike.Let every man be fully persuaded in his own mind. 6 He that regardeth the day, regardeth it unto the Lord; and he that regardethnot the day, to the Lord he doth not regard it. He that eateth, eateth tothe Lord, for he giveth God thanks; and he that eateth not, to the Lordhe eateth not, and giveth God thanks. 7 For none of us liveth to himself, and no man dieth to himself. 8 For whether we live, we live unto the Lord; and whether we die, we dieunto the Lord: whether we live therefore, or die, we are the Lord's.
Romans 15:13 Now the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, that ye may abound in hope, through the power of the Holy Ghost.
Ephesians 1:13 In whom ye also trusted, after that ye heard the word oftruth, the gospel of your salvation: in whom also after that ye believed,ye were sealed with that holy Spirit of promise, 14 Which is the earnest of our inheritance until the redemption of the purchasedpossession, unto the praise of his glory. 15 Wherefore I also, after I heard of your faith in the Lord Jesus, andlove unto all the saints, 16 Cease not to give thanks for you, making mention of you in my prayers; 17 That the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may giveunto you the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of him: 18 The eyes of your understanding being enlightened; that ye may know whatis the hope of his calling, and what the riches of the glory of his inheritancein the saints, 19 And what is the exceeding greatness of his power to us-ward who believe, according to the working of his mighty power,
1 Timothy 4:10 For therefore we both labour and suffer reproach, becausewe trust in the living God, who is the Saviour of all men, specially ofthose that believe.
Hebrews 3:8 Harden not your hearts, as in the provocation, in the day oftemptation in the wilderness: 9 When your fathers tempted me, proved me, and saw my works forty years. 10 Wherefore I was grieved with that generation, and said, They do alwayerr in their heart; and they have not known my ways. 11 So I sware in my wrath, They shall not enter into my rest.) 12 Take heed, brethren, lest there be in any of you an evil heart of unbelief,in departing from the living God. 13 But exhort one another daily, while it is called To day; lest any ofyou be hardened through the deceitfulness of sin. 14 For we are made partakers of Christ, if we hold the beginning of ourconfidence stedfast unto the end; 15 While it is said, To day if ye will hear his voice, harden not your hearts,as in the provocation. 16 For some, when they had heard, did provoke: howbeit not all that cameout of Egypt by Moses. 17 But with whom was he grieved forty years? was it not with them that hadsinned, whose carcases fell in the wilderness? 18 And to whom sware he that they should not enter into his rest, but tothem that believed not? 19 So we see that they could not enter in because of unbelief.
Hebrews 4:1 Let us therefore fear, lest, a promise being left us of enteringinto his rest, any of you should seem to come short of it. 2 For unto us was the gospel preached, as well as unto them: but the wordpreached did not profit them, not being mixed with faith in them that heardit. 3 For we which have believed do enter into rest, as he said, As I have swornin my wrath, if they shall enter into my rest: although the works were finishedfrom the foundation of the world. 4 For he spake in a certain place of the seventh day on this wise, And Goddid rest the seventh day from all his works. 5 And in this place again, If they shall enter into my rest. 6 Seeing therefore it remaineth that some must enter therein, and they towhom it was first preached entered not in because of unbelief: 7 Again, he limiteth a certain day, saying in David, To day, after so longa time; as it is said, To day if ye will hear his voice, harden not yourhearts. 8 For if Jesus had given them rest, then would he not afterward have spokenof another day. 9 There remaineth therefore a rest to the people of God. 10 For he that is entered into his rest, he also hath ceased from his ownworks, as God did from his. 11 Let us labour therefore to enter into that rest, lest any man fall afterthe same example of unbelief.
Hebrews 11:6 But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he thatcometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of themthat diligently seek him.
