Leviticus 19:17 Thou shalt not hate thy brother in thine heart: thou shaltin any wise rebuke thy neighbour, and not suffer sin upon him. 18 Thou shalt not avenge, nor bear any grudge against the children of thypeople, but thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself: I am the LORD.
Leviticus 25:39 And if thy brother that dwelleth by thee be waxen poor,and be sold unto thee; thou shalt not compel him to serve as a bondservant: 40 But as an hired servant, and as a sojourner, he shall be with thee, andshall serve thee unto the year of jubile. 41 And then shall he depart from thee, both he and his children with him,and shall return unto his own family, and unto the possession of his fathersshall he return. 42 For they are my servants, which I brought forth out of the land of Egypt:they shall not be sold as bondmen. 43 Thou shalt not rule over him with rigour; but shalt fear thy God. 44 Both thy bondmen, and thy bondmaids, which thou shalt have, shall beof the heathen that are round about you; of them shall ye buy bondmen andbondmaids. 45 Moreover of the children of the strangers that do sojourn among you,of them shall ye buy, and of their families that are with you, which theybegat in your land: and they shall be your possession. 46 And ye shall take them as an inheritance for your children after you,to inherit them for a possession; they shall be your bondmen for ever: butover your brethren the children of Israel, ye shall not rule one over anotherwith rigour.
Numbers 6:24 The LORD bless thee, and keep thee: 25 The LORD make his face shine upon thee, and be gracious unto thee: 26 The LORD lift up his countenance upon thee, and give thee peace.
Deuteronomy 1:22 And ye came near unto me every one of you, and said, Wewill send men before us, and they shall search us out the land, and bringus word again by what way we must go up, and into what cities we shall come. 23 And the saying pleased me well: and I took twelve men of you, one ofa tribe: 24 And they turned and went up into the mountain, and came unto the valleyof Eshcol, and searched it out. 25 And they took of the fruit of the land in their hands, and brought itdown unto us, and brought us word again, and said, It is a good land whichthe LORD our God doth give us. 26 Notwithstanding ye would not go up, but rebelled against the commandmentof the LORD your God: 27 And ye murmured in your tents, and said, Because the LORD hated us, hehath brought us forth out of the land of Egypt, to deliver us into the handof the Amorites, to destroy us. 28 Whither shall we go up? our brethren have discouraged our heart, saying,The people is greater and taller than we; the cities are great and walledup to heaven; and moreover we have seen the sons of the Anakims there. 29 Then I said unto you, Dread not, neither be afraid of them. 30 The LORD your God which goeth before you, he shall fight for you, accordingto all that he did for you in Egypt before your eyes; 31 And in the wilderness, where thou hast seen how that the LORD thy Godbare thee, as a man doth bear his son, in all the way that ye went, untilye came into this place. 32 Yet in this thing ye did not believe the LORD your God, 33 Who went in the way before you, to search you out a place to pitch yourtents in, in fire by night, to shew you by what way ye should go, and ina cloud by day. 34 And the LORD heard the voice of your words, and was wroth, and sware,saying, 35 Surely there shall not one of these men of this evil generation see thatgood land, which I sware to give unto your fathers. 36 Save Caleb the son of Jephunneh; he shall see it, and to him will I givethe land that he hath trodden upon, and to his children, because he hathwholly followed the LORD. 37 Also the LORD was angry with me for your sakes, saying, Thou also shaltnot go in thither. 38 But Joshua the son of Nun, which standeth before thee, he shall go inthither: encourage him: for he shall cause Israel to inherit it. 39 Moreover your little ones, which ye said should be a prey, and your children,which in that day had no knowledge between good and evil, they shall goin thither, and unto them will I give it, and they shall possess it.
Deuteronomy 23:19 Thou shalt not lend upon usury to thy brother; usury ofmoney, usury of victuals, usury of any thing that is lent upon usury: 20 Unto a stranger thou mayest lend upon usury; but unto thy brother thoushalt not lend upon usury: that the LORD thy God may bless thee in all thatthou settest thine hand to in the land whither thou goest to possess it.

Matthew 18:1 At the same time came the disciples unto Jesus, saying, Whois the greatest in the kingdom of heaven? 2 And Jesus called a little child unto him, and set him in the midst ofthem, 3 And said, Verily I say unto you, Except ye be converted, and become aslittle children, ye shall not enter into the kingdom of heaven. 4 Whosoever therefore shall humble himself as this little child, the sameis greatest in the kingdom of heaven. 5 And whoso shall receive one such little child in my name receiveth me. 6 But whoso shall offend one of these little ones which believe in me, itwere better for him that a millstone were hanged about his neck, and thathe were drowned in the depth of the sea. 7 Woe unto the world because of offences! for it must needs be that offencescome; but woe to that man by whom the offence cometh! 8 Wherefore if thy hand or thy foot offend thee, cut them off, and castthem from thee: it is better for thee to enter into life halt or maimed,rather than having two hands or two feet to be cast into everlasting fire. 9 And if thine eye offend thee, pluck it out, and cast it from thee: itis better for thee to enter into life with one eye, rather than having twoeyes to be cast into hell fire. 10 Take heed that ye despise not one of these little ones; for I say untoyou, That in heaven their angels do always behold the face of my Fatherwhich is in heaven. 11 For the Son of man is come to save that which was lost. 12 How think ye? if a man have an hundred sheep, and one of them be goneastray, doth he not leave the ninety and nine, and goeth into the mountains,and seeketh that which is gone astray? 13 And if so be that he find it, verily I say unto you, he rejoiceth moreof that sheep, than of the ninety and nine which went not astray. 14 Even so it is not the will of your Father which is in heaven, that oneof these little ones should perish. 15 Moreover if thy brother shall trespass against thee, go and tell himhis fault between thee and him alone: if he shall hear thee, thou hast gainedthy brother. 16 But if he will not hear thee, then take with thee one or two more, thatin the mouth of two or three witnesses every word may be established. 17 And if he shall neglect to hear them, tell it unto the church: but ifhe neglect to hear the church, let him be unto thee as an heathen man anda publican. 18 Verily I say unto you, Whatsoever ye shall bind on earth shall be boundin heaven: and whatsoever ye shall loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven. 19 Again I say unto you, That if two of you shall agree on earth as touchingany thing that they shall ask, it shall be done for them of my Father whichis in heaven. 20 For where two or three are gathered together in my name, there am I inthe midst of them. 21 Then came Peter to him, and said, Lord, how oft shall my brother sinagainst me, and I forgive him? till seven times? 22 Jesus saith unto him, I say not unto thee, Until seven times: but, Untilseventy times seven. 23 Therefore is the kingdom of heaven likened unto a certain king, whichwould take account of his servants. 24 And when he had begun to reckon, one was brought unto him, which owedhim ten thousand talents. 25 But forasmuch as he had not to pay, his lord commanded him to be sold,and his wife, and children, and all that he had, and payment to be made. 26 The servant therefore fell down, and worshipped him, saying, Lord, havepatience with me, and I will pay thee all. 27 Then the lord of that servant was moved with compassion, and loosed him,and forgave him the debt. 28 But the same servant went out, and found one of his fellowservants, whichowed him an hundred pence: and he laid hands on him, and took him by thethroat, saying, Pay me that thou owest. 29 And his fellowservant fell down at his feet, and besought him, saying,Have patience with me, and I will pay thee all. 30 And he would not: but went and cast him into prison, till he should paythe debt. 31 So when his fellowservants saw what was done, they were very sorry, andcame and told unto their lord all that was done. 32 Then his lord, after that he had called him, said unto him, O thou wickedservant, I forgave thee all that debt, because thou desiredst me: 33 Shouldest not thou also have had compassion on thy fellowservant, evenas I had pity on thee? 34 And his lord was wroth, and delivered him to the tormentors, till heshould pay all that was due unto him. 35 So likewise shall my heavenly Father do also unto you, if ye from yourhearts forgive not every one his brother their trespasses.
Matthew 20:23 And he saith unto them, Ye shall drink indeed of my cup, andbe baptized with the baptism that I am baptized with: but to sit on my righthand, and on my left, is not mine to give, but it shall be given to themfor whom it is prepared of my Father. 24 And when the ten heard it, they were moved with indignation against thetwo brethren. 25 But Jesus called them unto him, and said, Ye know that the princes ofthe Gentiles exercise dominion over them, and they that are great exerciseauthority upon them. 26 But it shall not be so among you: but whosoever will be great among you,let him be your minister; 27 And whosoever will be chief among you, let him be your servant: 28 Even as the Son of man came not to be ministered unto, but to minister,and to give his life a ransom for many.

For withthe same measure that ye mete withal it shall be measured to you again. 39 And he spake a parable unto them, Can the blind lead the blind? shallthey not both fall into the ditch? 40 The disciple is not above his master: but every one that is perfect shallbe as his master. 41 And why beholdest thou the mote that is in thy brother's eye, but perceivestnot the beam that is in thine own eye? 42 Either how canst thou say to thy brother, Brother, let me pull out themote that is in thine eye, when thou thyself beholdest not the beam thatis in thine own eye? Thou hypocrite, cast out first the beam out of thineown eye, and then shalt thou see clearly to pull out the mote that is inthy brother's eye.
Luke 11:5 And he said unto them, Which of you shall have a friend, and shallgo unto him at midnight, and say unto him, Friend, lend me three loaves; 6 For a friend of mine in his journey is come to me, and I have nothingto set before him? 7 And he from within shall answer and say, Trouble me not: the door is nowshut, and my children are with me in bed; I cannot rise and give thee. 8 I say unto you, Though he will not rise and give him, because he is hisfriend, yet because of his importunity he will rise and give him as manyas he needeth.
Luke 15:11 And he said, A certain man had two sons: 12 And the younger of them said to his father, Father, give me the portionof goods that falleth to me. And he divided unto them his living. 13 And not many days after the younger son gathered all together, and tookhis journey into a far country, and there wasted his substance with riotousliving. 14 And when he had spent all, there arose a mighty famine in that land;and he began to be in want. 15 And he went and joined himself to a citizen of that country; and he senthim into his fields to feed swine. 16 And he would fain have filled his belly with the husks that the swinedid eat: and no man gave unto him. 17 And when he came to himself, he said, How many hired servants of my father'shave bread enough and to spare, and I perish with hunger! 18 I will arise and go to my father, and will say unto him, Father, I havesinned against heaven, and before thee, 19 And am no more worthy to be called thy son: make me as one of thy hiredservants. 20 And he arose, and came to his father. But when he was yet a great wayoff, his father saw him, and had compassion, and ran, and fell on his neck,and kissed him. 21 And the son said unto him, Father, I have sinned against heaven, andin thy sight, and am no more worthy to be called thy son. 22 But the father said to his servants, Bring forth the best robe, and putit on him; and put a ring on his hand, and shoes on his feet: 23 And bring hither the fatted calf, and kill it; and let us eat, and bemerry: 24 For this my son was dead, and is alive again; he was lost, and is found.And they began to be merry. 25 Now his elder son was in the field: and as he came and drew nigh to thehouse, he heard musick and dancing. 26 And he called one of the servants, and asked what these things meant. 27 And he said unto him, Thy brother is come; and thy father hath killedthe fatted calf, because he hath received him safe and sound. 28 And he was angry, and would not go in: therefore came his father out,and intreated him. 29 And he answering said to his father, Lo, these many years do I servethee, neither transgressed I at any time thy commandment: and yet thou nevergavest me a kid, that I might make merry with my friends: 30 But as soon as this thy son was come, which hath devoured thy livingwith harlots, thou hast killed for him the fatted calf. 31 And he said unto him, Son, thou art ever with me, and all that I haveis thine. 32 It was meet that we should make merry, and be glad: for this thy brotherwas dead, and is alive again; and was lost, and is found.
Luke 17:3 Take heed to yourselves: If thy brother trespass against thee,rebuke him; and if he repent, forgive him. 4 And if he trespass against thee seven times in a day, and seven timesin a day turn again to thee, saying, I repent; thou shalt forgive him.
Luke 22:24 And there was also a strife among them, which of them shouldbe accounted the greatest. 25 And he said unto them, The kings of the Gentiles exercise lordship overthem; and they that exercise authority upon them are called benefactors. 26 But ye shall not be so: but he that is greatest among you, let him beas the younger; and he that is chief, as he that doth serve. 27 For whether is greater, he that sitteth at meat, or he that serveth?is not he that sitteth at meat? but I am among you as he that serveth.

Acts 2:42 And they continued stedfastly in the apostles' doctrine and fellowship,and in breaking of bread, and in prayers. 43 And fear came upon every soul: and many wonders and signs were done bythe apostles. 44 And all that believed were together, and had all things common; 45 And sold their possessions and goods, and parted them to all men, asevery man had need. 46 And they, continuing daily with one accord in the temple, and breakingbread from house to house, did eat their meat with gladness and singlenessof heart, 47 Praising God, and having favour with all the people. And the Lord addedto the church daily such as should be saved.
Acts 15:36 And some days after Paul said unto Barnabas, Let us go againand visit our brethren in every city where we have preached the word ofthe Lord, and see how they do. 37 And Barnabas determined to take with them John, whose surname was Mark. 38 But Paul thought not good to take him with them, who departed from themfrom Pamphylia, and went not with them to the work. 39 And the contention was so sharp between them, that they departed asunderone from the other: and so Barnabas took Mark, and sailed unto Cyprus; 40 And Paul chose Silas, and departed, being recommended by the brethrenunto the grace of God. 41 And he went through Syria and Cilicia, confirming the churches.
Acts 20:19 Serving the Lord with all humility of mind, and with many tears,and temptations, which befell me by the lying in wait of the Jews: 20 And how I kept back nothing that was profitable unto you, but have shewedyou, and have taught you publickly, and from house to house, 21 Testifying both to the Jews, and also to the Greeks, repentance towardGod, and faith toward our Lord Jesus Christ.
Acts 20:28 Take heed therefore unto yourselves, and to all the flock, overthe which the Holy Ghost hath made you overseers, to feed the church ofGod, which he hath purchased with his own blood.

Abhor that which is evil; cleave tothat which is good. 10 Be kindly affectioned one to another with brotherly love; in honour preferringone another; 11 Not slothful in business; fervent in spirit; serving the Lord; 12 Rejoicing in hope; patient in tribulation; continuing instant in prayer; 13 Distributing to the necessity of saints; given to hospitality. 14 Bless them which persecute you: bless, and curse not. 15 Rejoice with them that do rejoice, and weep with them that weep. 16 Be of the same mind one toward another. Mind not high things, but condescendto men of low estate. Be not wise in your own conceits. 17 Recompense to no man evil for evil. Provide things honest in the sightof all men. 18 If it be possible, as much as lieth in you, live peaceably with all men. 19 Dearly beloved, avenge not yourselves, but rather give place unto wrath:for it is written, Vengeance is mine; I will repay, saith the Lord. 20 Therefore if thine enemy hunger, feed him; if he thirst, give him drink:for in so doing thou shalt heap coals of fire on his head. 21 Be not overcome of evil, but overcome evil with good.

Romans 14:1 Him that is weak in the faith receive ye, but not to doubtfuldisputations. 2 For one believeth that he may eat all things: another, who is weak, eatethherbs. 3 Let not him that eateth despise him that eateth not; and let not him whicheateth not judge him that eateth: for God hath received him. 4 Who art thou that judgest another man's servant? to his own master hestandeth or falleth. Yea, he shall be holden up: for God is able to makehim stand. 5 One man esteemeth one day above another: another esteemeth every day alike.Let every man be fully persuaded in his own mind. 6 He that regardeth the day, regardeth it unto the Lord; and he that regardethnot the day, to the Lord he doth not regard it. He that eateth, eateth tothe Lord, for he giveth God thanks; and he that eateth not, to the Lordhe eateth not, and giveth God thanks. 7 For none of us liveth to himself, and no man dieth to himself. 8 For whether we live, we live unto the Lord; and whether we die, we dieunto the Lord: whether we live therefore, or die, we are the Lord's. 9 For to this end Christ both died, and rose, and revived, that he mightbe Lord both of the dead and living. 10 But why dost thou judge thy brother? or why dost thou set at nought thybrother? for we shall all stand before the judgment seat of Christ. 11 For it is written, As I live, saith the Lord, every knee shall bow tome, and every tongue shall confess to God. 12 So then every one of us shall give account of himself to God. 13 Let us not therefore judge one another any more: but judge this rather,that no man put a stumblingblock or an occasion to fall in his brother'sway. 14 I know, and am persuaded by the Lord Jesus, that there is nothing uncleanof itself: but to him that esteemeth any thing to be unclean, to him itis unclean. 15 But if thy brother be grieved with thy meat, now walkest thou not charitably.Destroy not him with thy meat, for whom Christ died. 16 Let not then your good be evil spoken of: 17 For the kingdom of God is not meat and drink; but righteousness, andpeace, and joy in the Holy Ghost. 18 For he that in these things serveth Christ is acceptable to God, andapproved of men. 19 Let us therefore follow after the things which make for peace, and thingswherewith one may edify another. 20 For meat destroy not the work of God. All things indeed are pure; butit is evil for that man who eateth with offence. 21 It is good neither to eat flesh, nor to drink wine, nor any thing wherebythy brother stumbleth, or is offended, or is made weak. 22 Hast thou faith? have it to thyself before God. Happy is he that condemnethnot himself in that thing which he alloweth. 23 And he that doubteth is damned if he eat, because he eateth not of faith:for whatsoever is not of faith is sin.
Romans 15:1 We then that are strong ought to bear the infirmities of theweak, and not to please ourselves. 2 Let every one of us please his neighbour for his good to edification. 3 For even Christ pleased not himself; but, as it is written, The reproachesof them that reproached thee fell on me. 4 For whatsoever things were written aforetime were written for our learning,that we through patience and comfort of the scriptures might have hope. 5 Now the God of patience and consolation grant you to be likeminded onetoward another according to Christ Jesus: 6 That ye may with one mind and one mouth glorify God, even the Father ofour Lord Jesus Christ. 7 Wherefore receive ye one another, as Christ also received us to the gloryof God.
Romans 15:25 But now I go unto Jerusalem to minister unto the saints. 26 For it hath pleased them of Macedonia and Achaia to make a certain contributionfor the poor saints which are at Jerusalem. 27 It hath pleased them verily; and their debtors they are. But let everyman take heed how he buildeth thereupon. 11 For other foundation can no man lay than that is laid, which is JesusChrist.
1 Corinthians 4:5 Therefore judge nothing before the time, until the Lordcome, who both will bring to light the hidden things of darkness, and willmake manifest the counsels of the hearts: and then shall every man havepraise of God. 6 And these things, brethren, I have in a figure transferred to myself andto Apollos for your sakes; that ye might learn in us not to think of menabove that which is written, that no one of you be puffed up for one againstanother. 7 For who maketh thee to differ from another? and what hast thou that thoudidst not receive? now if thou didst receive it, why dost thou glory, asif thou hadst not received it?

Know ye not that a little leaven leaveneththe whole lump? 7 Purge out therefore the old leaven, that ye may be a new lump, as ye areunleavened. For even Christ our passover is sacrificed for us: 8 Therefore let us keep the feast, not with old leaven, neither with theleaven of malice and wickedness; but with the unleavened bread of sincerityand truth. 9 I wrote unto you in an epistle not to company with fornicators: 10 Yet not altogether with the fornicators of this world, or with the covetous,or extortioners, or with idolaters; for then must ye needs go out of theworld. 11 But now I have written unto you not to keep company, if any man thatis called a brother be a fornicator, or covetous, or an idolater, or a railer,or a drunkard, or an extortioner; with such an one no not to eat. 12 For what have I to do to judge them also that are without? do not yejudge them that are within? 13 But them that are without God judgeth. Therefore put away from amongyourselves that wicked person.
1 Corinthians 6:1 Dare any of you, having a matter against another, go tolaw before the unjust, and not before the saints? 2 Do ye not know that the saints shall judge the world? and if the worldshall be judged by you, are ye unworthy to judge the smallest matters? 3 Know ye not that we shall judge angels? how much more things that pertainto this life? 4 If then ye have judgments of things pertaining to this life, set themto judge who are least esteemed in the church. 5 I speak to your shame. Is it so, that there is not a wise man among you?no, not one that shall be able to judge between his brethren? 6 But brother goeth to law with brother, and that before the unbelievers. 7 Now therefore there is utterly a fault among you, because ye go to lawone with another. Why do ye not rather take wrong? why do ye not rathersuffer yourselves to be defrauded? 8 Nay, ye do wrong, and defraud, and that your brethren. 9 Know ye not that the unrighteous shall not inherit the kingdom of God?Be not deceived: neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, noreffeminate, nor abusers of themselves with mankind, 10 Nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners,shall inherit the kingdom of God.
1 Corinthians 8:4 As concerning therefore the eating of those things thatare offered in sacrifice unto idols, we know that an idol is nothing inthe world, and that there is none other God but one. 5 For though there be that are called gods, whether in heaven or in earth,(as there be gods many, and lords many,) 6 But to us there is but one God, the Father, of whom are all things, andwe in him; and one Lord Jesus Christ, by whom are all things, and we byhim. 7 Howbeit there is not in every man that knowledge: for some with conscienceof the idol unto this hour eat it as a thing offered unto an idol; and theirconscience being weak is defiled. 8 But meat commendeth us not to God: for neither, if we eat, are we thebetter; neither, if we eat not, are we the worse. 9 But take heed lest by any means this liberty of yours become a stumblingblockto them that are weak. 10 For if any man see thee which hast knowledge sit at meat in the idol'stemple, shall not the conscience of him which is weak be emboldened to eatthose things which are offered to idols; 11 And through thy knowledge shall the weak brother perish, for whom Christdied? 12 But when ye sin so against the brethren, and wound their weak conscience,ye sin against Christ. 13 Wherefore, if meat make my brother to offend, I will eat no flesh whilethe world standeth, lest I make my brother to offend.

If the whole werehearing, where were the smelling? 18 But now hath God set the members every one of them in the body, as ithath pleased him. 19 And if they were all one member, where were the body? 20 But now are they many members, yet but one body. 21 And the eye cannot say unto the hand, I have no need of thee: nor againthe head to the feet, I have no need of you. 22 Nay, much more those members of the body, which seem to be more feeble,are necessary: 23 And those members of the body, which we think to be less honourable,upon these we bestow more abundant honour; and our uncomely parts have moreabundant comeliness. 24 For our comely parts have no need: but God hath tempered the body together,having given more abundant honour to that part which lacked. 25 That there should be no schism in the body; but that the members shouldhave the same care one for another. 26 And whether one member suffer, all the members suffer with it; or onemember be honoured, all the members rejoice with it. 27 Now ye are the body of Christ, and members in particular. 28 And God hath set some in the church, first apostles, secondarily prophets,thirdly teachers, after that miracles, then gifts of healings, helps, governments,diversities of tongues. 29 Are all apostles? are all prophets? are all teachers? are all workersof miracles? 30 Have all the gifts of healing? do all speak with tongues? do all interpret? 31 But covet earnestly the best gifts: and yet shew I unto you a more excellentway.

2 Corinthians 6:1 We then, as workers together with him, beseech you alsothat ye receive not the grace of God in vain. 2 (For he saith, I have heard thee in a time accepted, and in the day ofsalvation have I succoured thee: behold, now is the accepted time; behold,now is the day of salvation.) 3 Giving no offence in any thing, that the ministry be not blamed: 4 But in all things approving ourselves as the ministers of God, in muchpatience, in afflictions, in necessities, in distresses, 5 In stripes, in imprisonments, in tumults, in labours, in watchings, infastings; 6 By pureness, by knowledge, by longsuffering, by kindness, by the HolyGhost, by love unfeigned, 7 By the word of truth, by the power of God, by the armour of righteousnesson the right hand and on the left, 8 By honour and dishonour, by evil report and good report: as deceivers,and yet true; 9 As unknown, and yet well known; as dying, and, behold, we live; as chastened,and not killed; 10 As sorrowful, yet alway rejoicing; as poor, yet making many rich; ashaving nothing, and yet possessing all things. 11 O ye Corinthians, our mouth is open unto you, our heart is enlarged. 12 Ye are not straitened in us, but ye are straitened in your own bowels. 13 Now for a recompence in the same, (I speak as unto my children,) be yealso enlarged.
2 Corinthians 7:1 Having therefore these promises, dearly beloved, let uscleanse ourselves from all filthiness of the flesh and spirit, perfectingholiness in the fear of God. 2 Receive us; we have wronged no man, we have corrupted no man, we havedefrauded no man. 3 I speak not this to condemn you: for I have said before, that ye are inour hearts to die and live with you. 4 Great is my boldness of speech toward you, great is my glorying of you:I am filled with comfort, I am exceeding joyful in all our tribulation.
2 Corinthians 7:7 And not by his coming only, but by the consolation wherewithhe was comforted in you, when he told us your earnest desire, your mourning,your fervent mind toward me; so that I rejoiced the more. 8 For though I made you sorry with a letter, I do not repent, though I didrepent: for I perceive that the same epistle hath made you sorry, thoughit were but for a season. 9 Now I rejoice, not that ye were made sorry, but that ye sorrowed to repentance:for ye were made sorry after a godly manner, that ye might receive damageby us in nothing. 10 For godly sorrow worketh repentance to salvation not to be repented of:but the sorrow of the world worketh death. 11 For behold this selfsame thing, that ye sorrowed after a godly sort,what carefulness it wrought in you, yea, what clearing of yourselves, yea,what indignation, yea, what fear, yea, what vehement desire, yea, what zeal,yea, what revenge! In all things ye have approved yourselves to be clearin this matter. 12 Wherefore, though I wrote unto you, I did it not for his cause that haddone the wrong, nor for his cause that suffered wrong, but that our carefor you in the sight of God might appear unto you. 13 Therefore we were comforted in your comfort: yea, and exceedingly themore joyed we for the joy of Titus, because his spirit was refreshed byyou all.
2 Corinthians 9:1 For as touching the ministering to the saints, it is superfluousfor me to write to you: 2 For I know the forwardness of your mind, for which I boast of you to themof Macedonia, that Achaia was ready a year ago; and your zeal hath provokedvery many.
2 Corinthians 9:5 Therefore I thought it necessary to exhort the brethren,that they would go before unto you, and make up beforehand your bounty,whereof ye had notice before, that the same might be ready, as a matterof bounty, and not as of covetousness. 6 But this I say, He which soweth sparingly shall reap also sparingly; andhe which soweth bountifully shall reap also bountifully. 7 Every man according as he purposeth in his heart, so let him give; notgrudgingly, or of necessity: for God loveth a cheerful giver. 8 And God is able to make all grace abound toward you; that ye, always havingall sufficiency in all things, may abound to every good work: 9 (As it is written, He hath dispersed abroad; he hath given to the poor:his righteousness remaineth for ever. 10 Now he that ministereth seed to the sower both minister bread for yourfood, and multiply your seed sown, and increase the fruits of your righteousness;) 11 Being enriched in every thing to all bountifulness, which causeth throughus thanksgiving to God. 12 For the administration of this service not only supplieth the want ofthe saints, but is abundant also by many thanksgivings unto God; 13 Whiles by the experiment of this ministration they glorify God for yourprofessed subjection unto the gospel of Christ, and for your liberal distributionunto them, and unto all men; 14 And by their prayer for you, which long after you for the exceeding graceof God in you. 15 Thanks be unto God for his unspeakable gift.
2 Corinthians 11:12 But what I do, that I will do, that I may cut off occasionfrom them which desire occasion; that wherein they glory, they may be foundeven as we. 13 For such are false apostles, deceitful workers, transforming themselvesinto the apostles of Christ. 14 And no marvel; for Satan himself is transformed into an angel of light. 15 Therefore it is no great thing if his ministers also be transformed asthe ministers of righteousness; whose end shall be according to their works. 16 I say again, Let no man think me a fool; if otherwise, yet as a foolreceive me, that I may boast myself a little. 17 That which I speak, I speak it not after the Lord, but as it were foolishly,in this confidence of boasting. 18 Seeing that many glory after the flesh, I will glory also. 19 For ye suffer fools gladly, seeing ye yourselves are wise. 20 For ye suffer, if a man bring you into bondage, if a man devour you,if a man take of you, if a man exalt himself, if a man smite you on theface. 21 I speak as concerning reproach, as though we had been weak. Howbeit whereinsoeverany is bold, (I speak foolishly,) I am bold also. 22 Are they Hebrews? so am I. Are they Israelites? so am I. Are they theseed of Abraham? so am I. 23 Are they ministers of Christ? (I speak as a fool) I am more; in laboursmore abundant, in stripes above measure, in prisons more frequent, in deathsoft. 24 Of the Jews five times received I forty stripes save one. 25 Thrice was I beaten with rods, once was I stoned, thrice I suffered shipwreck,a night and a day I have been in the deep; 26 In journeyings often, in perils of waters, in perils of robbers, in perilsby mine own countrymen, in perils by the heathen, in perils in the city,in perils in the wilderness, in perils in the sea, in perils among falsebrethren; 27 In weariness and painfulness, in watchings often, in hunger and thirst,in fastings often, in cold and nakedness. 28 Beside those things that are without, that which cometh upon me daily,the care of all the churches. 29 Who is weak, and I am not weak? who is offended, and I burn not? 30 If I must needs glory, I will glory of the things which concern mineinfirmities. 31 The God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, which is blessed for evermore,knoweth that I lie not. 32 In Damascus the governor under Aretas the king kept the city of the Damasceneswith a garrison, desirous to apprehend me: 33 And through a window in a basket was I let down by the wall, and escapedhis hands.
2 Corinthians 12:14 Behold, the third time I am ready to come to you; andI will not be burdensome to you: for I seek not yours but you: for the childrenought not to lay up for the parents, but the parents for the children. 15 And I will very gladly spend and be spent for you; though the more abundantlyI love you, the less I be loved. 16 But be it so, I did not burden you: nevertheless, being crafty, I caughtyou with guile. 17 Did I make a gain of you by any of them whom I sent unto you? 18 I desired Titus, and with him I sent a brother. Did Titus make a gainof you? walked we not in the same spirit? walked we not in the same steps? 19 Again, think ye that we excuse ourselves unto you? we speak before Godin Christ: but we do all things, dearly beloved, for your edifying. 20 For I fear, lest, when I come, I shall not find you such as I would,and that I shall be found unto you such as ye would not: lest there be debates,envyings, wraths, strifes, backbitings, whisperings, swellings, tumults: 21 And lest, when I come again, my God will humble me among you, and thatI shall bewail many which have sinned already, and have not repented ofthe uncleanness and fornication and lasciviousness which they have committed.
2 Corinthians 13:9 For we are glad, when we are weak, and ye are strong:and this also we wish, even your perfection.
2 Corinthians 13:11 Finally, brethren, farewell. Be perfect, be of goodcomfort, be of one mind, live in peace; and the God of love and peace shallbe with you. 12 Greet one another with an holy kiss.
Galatians 2:11 But when Peter was come to Antioch, I withstood him to theface, because he was to be blamed. 12 For before that certain came from James, he did eat with the Gentiles:but when they were come, he withdrew and separated himself, fearing themwhich were of the circumcision. 13 And the other Jews dissembled likewise with him; insomuch that Barnabasalso was carried away with their dissimulation. 14 But when I saw that they walked not uprightly according to the truthof the gospel, I said unto Peter before them all, If thou, being a Jew,livest after the manner of Gentiles, and not as do the Jews, why compellestthou the Gentiles to live as do the Jews?
Galatians 3:28 There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither bond norfree, there is neither male nor female: for ye are all one in Christ Jesus.
Galatians 5:7 Ye did run well; who did hinder you that ye should not obeythe truth? 8 This persuasion cometh not of him that calleth you. 9 A little leaven leaveneth the whole lump. 10 I have confidence in you through the Lord, that ye will be none otherwiseminded: but he that troubleth you shall bear his judgment, whosoever hebe. 11 And I, brethren, if I yet preach circumcision, why do I yet suffer persecution?then is the offence of the cross ceased. 12 I would they were even cut off which trouble you. 13 For, brethren, ye have been called unto liberty; only use not libertyfor an occasion to the flesh, but by love serve one another. 14 For all the law is fulfilled in one word, even in this; Thou shalt lovethy neighbour as thyself. 15 But if ye bite and devour one another, take heed that ye be not consumedone of another. 16 This I say then, Walk in the Spirit, and ye shall not fulfil the lustof the flesh. 17 For the flesh lusteth against the Spirit, and the Spirit against theflesh: and these are contrary the one to the other: so that ye cannot dothe things that ye would. 18 But if ye be led of the Spirit, ye are not under the law. 19 Now the works of the flesh are manifest, which are these; Adultery, fornication,uncleanness, lasciviousness, 20 Idolatry, witchcraft, hatred, variance, emulations, wrath, strife, seditions,heresies, 21 Envyings, murders, drunkenness, revellings, and such like: of the whichI tell you before, as I have also told you in time past, that they whichdo such things shall not inherit the kingdom of God. 22 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness,goodness, faith, 23 Meekness, temperance: against such there is no law. 24 And they that are Christ's have crucified the flesh with the affectionsand lusts. 25 If we live in the Spirit, let us also walk in the Spirit. 26 Let us not be desirous of vain glory, provoking one another, envyingone another.
Galatians 6:1 Brethren, if a man be overtaken in a fault, ye which are spiritual,restore such an one in the spirit of meekness; considering thyself, lestthou also be tempted. 2 Bear ye one another's burdens, and so fulfil the law of Christ.
Galatians 6:9 And let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season weshall reap, if we faint not. 10 As we have therefore opportunity, let us do good unto all men, especiallyunto them who are of the household of faith.

Do not rich men oppress you, and draw youbefore the judgment seats? 7 Do not they blaspheme that worthy name by the which ye are called? 8 If ye fulfil the royal law according to the scripture, Thou shalt lovethy neighbour as thyself, ye do well: 9 But if ye have respect to persons, ye commit sin, and are convinced ofthe law as transgressors. 10 For whosoever shall keep the whole law, and yet offend in one point,he is guilty of all. 11 For he that said, Do not commit adultery, said also, Do not kill. Nowif thou commit no adultery, yet if thou kill, thou art become a transgressorof the law. 12 So speak ye, and so do, as they that shall be judged by the law of liberty. 13 For he shall have judgment without mercy, that hath shewed no mercy;and mercy rejoiceth against judgment.
James 3:9 Therewith bless we God, even the Father; and therewith curse wemen, which are made after the similitude of God. 10 Out of the same mouth proceedeth blessing and cursing. My brethren, thesethings ought not so to be. 11 Doth a fountain send forth at the same place sweet water and bitter? 12 Can the fig tree, my brethren, bear olive berries? either a vine, figs?so can no fountain both yield salt water and fresh. 13 Who is a wise man and endued with knowledge among you? let him shew outof a good conversation his works with meekness of wisdom. 14 But if ye have bitter envying and strife in your hearts, glory not, andlie not against the truth. 15 This wisdom descendeth not from above, but is earthly, sensual, devilish. 16 For where envying and strife is, there is confusion and every evil work. 17 But the wisdom that is from above is first pure, then peaceable, gentle,and easy to be intreated, full of mercy and good fruits, without partiality,and without hypocrisy. 18 And the fruit of righteousness is sown in peace of them that make peace.
James 4:1 From whence come wars and fightings among you? come they not hence,even of your lusts that war in your members? 2 Ye lust, and have not: ye kill, and desire to have, and cannot obtain:ye fight and war, yet ye have not, because ye ask not. 3 Ye ask, and receive not, because ye ask amiss, that ye may consume itupon your lusts. 4 Ye adulterers and adulteresses, know ye not that the friendship of theworld is enmity with God? whosoever therefore will be a friend of the worldis the enemy of God. 5 Do ye think that the scripture saith in vain, The spirit that dwellethin us lusteth to envy? 6 But he giveth more grace. Wherefore he saith, God resisteth the proud,but giveth grace unto the humble. 7 Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will fleefrom you. 8 Draw nigh to God, and he will draw nigh to you. Cleanse your hands, yesinners; and purify your hearts, ye double minded. 9 Be afflicted, and mourn, and weep: let your laughter be turned to mourning,and your joy to heaviness. 10 Humble yourselves in the sight of the Lord, and he shall lift you up. 11 Speak not evil one of another, brethren. He that speaketh evil of hisbrother, and judgeth his brother, speaketh evil of the law, and judgeththe law: but if thou judge the law, thou art not a doer of the law, buta judge. 12 There is one lawgiver, who is able to save and to destroy: who art thouthat judgest another?
James 4:17 Therefore to him that knoweth to do good, and doeth it not, tohim it is sin.
James 5:9 Grudge not one against another, brethren, lest ye be condemned:behold, the judge standeth before the door. 10 Take, my brethren, the prophets, who have spoken in the name of the Lord,for an example of suffering affliction, and of patience. 11 Behold, we count them happy which endure. Ye have heard of the patienceof Job, and have seen the end of the Lord; that the Lord is very pitiful,and of tender mercy.
James 5:16 Confess your faults one to another, and pray one for another,that ye may be healed. The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availethmuch. 17 Elias was a man subject to like passions as we are, and he prayed earnestlythat it might not rain: and it rained not on the earth by the space of threeyears and six months. 18 And he prayed again, and the heaven gave rain, and the earth broughtforth her fruit. 19 Brethren, if any of you do err from the truth, and one convert him; 20 Let him know, that he which converteth the sinner from the error of hisway shall save a soul from death, and shall hide a multitude of sins.
1 Peter 1:22 Seeing ye have purified your souls in obeying the truth throughthe Spirit unto unfeigned love of the brethren, see that ye love one anotherwith a pure heart fervently:
1 Peter 2:1 Wherefore laying aside all malice, and all guile, and hypocrisies,and envies, all evil speakings, 2 As newborn babes, desire the sincere milk of the word, that ye may growthereby: 3 If so be ye have tasted that the Lord is gracious.

1 Peter 4:7 But the end of all things is at hand: be ye therefore sober,and watch unto prayer. 8 And above all things have fervent charity among yourselves: for charityshall cover the multitude of sins. 9 Use hospitality one to another without grudging. 10 As every man hath received the gift, even so minister the same one toanother, as good stewards of the manifold grace of God. 11 If any man speak, let him speak as the oracles of God; if any man minister,let him do it as of the ability which God giveth: that God in all thingsmay be glorified through Jesus Christ, to whom be praise and dominion forever and ever. Yea, all of yoube subject one to another, and be clothed with humility: for God resisteththe proud, and giveth grace to the humble. 6 Humble yourselves therefore under the mighty hand of God, that he mayexalt you in due time: 7 Casting all your care upon him; for he careth for you. 8 Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaringlion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour: 9 Whom resist stedfast in the faith, knowing that the same afflictions areaccomplished in your brethren that are in the world. 10 But the God of all grace, who hath called us unto his eternal glory byChrist Jesus, after that ye have suffered a while, make you perfect, stablish,strengthen, settle you.
2 Peter 1:5 And beside this, giving all diligence, add to your faith virtue;and to virtue knowledge; 6 And to knowledge temperance; and to temperance patience; and to patiencegodliness; 7 And to godliness brotherly kindness; and to brotherly kindness charity. 8 For if these things be in you, and abound, they make you that ye shallneither be barren nor unfruitful in the knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ. 9 But he that lacketh these things is blind, and cannot see afar off, andhath forgotten that he was purged from his old sins. 10 Wherefore the rather, brethren, give diligence to make your calling andelection sure: for if ye do these things, ye shall never fall:
2 Peter 3:14 Wherefore, beloved, seeing that ye look for such things, bediligent that ye may be found of him in peace, without spot, and blameless.
1 John 1:5 This then is the message which we have heard of him, and declareunto you, that God is light, and in him is no darkness at all. 6 If we say that we have fellowship with him, and walk in darkness, we lie,and do not the truth: 7 But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowshipone with another, and the blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanseth us fromall sin.

God is love;and he that dwelleth in love dwelleth in God, and God in him. 17 Herein is our love made perfect, that we may have boldness in the dayof judgment: because as he is, so are we in this world. 18 There is no fear in love; but perfect love casteth out fear: becausefear hath torment. He that feareth is not made perfect in love. 19 We love him, because he first loved us. 20 If a man say, I love God, and hateth his brother, he is a liar: for hethat loveth not his brother whom he hath seen, how can he love God whomhe hath not seen? 21 And this commandment have we from him, That he who loveth God love hisbrother also.
2 John 1:9 Whosoever transgresseth, and abideth not in the doctrine of Christ,hath not God. He that abideth in the doctrine of Christ, he hath both theFather and the Son. 10 If there come any unto you, and bring not this doctrine, receive himnot into your house, neither bid him God speed: 11 For he that biddeth him God speed is partaker of his evil deeds.
3 John 1:9 I wrote unto the church: but Diotrephes, who loveth to have thepreeminence among them, receiveth us not. 10 Wherefore, if I come, I will remember his deeds which he doeth, pratingagainst us with malicious words: and not content therewith, neither dothhe himself receive the brethren, and forbiddeth them that would, and casteththem out of the church. 11 Beloved, follow not that which is evil, but that which is good. He thatdoeth good is of God: but he that doeth evil hath not seen God. 12 Demetrius hath good report of all men, and of the truth itself: yea,and we also bear record; and ye know that our record is true.
Jude 1:19 These be they who separate themselves, sensual, having not theSpirit. 20 But ye, beloved, building up yourselves on your most holy faith, prayingin the Holy Ghost, 21 Keep yourselves in the love of God, looking for the mercy of our LordJesus Christ unto eternal life. 22 And of some have compassion, making a difference: 23 And others save with fear, pulling them out of the fire; hating eventhe garment spotted by the flesh.
