Deuteronomy 6:4 Hear, O Israel: The LORD our God is one LORD:
5 And thou shalt love the LORD thy God with all thine heart, and with allthy soul, and with all thy might.
6 And these words, which I command thee this day, shall be in thine heart:
7 And thou shalt teach them diligently unto thy children, and shalt talkof them when thou sittest in thine house, and when thou walkest by the way,and when thou liest down, and when thou risest up.
8 And thou shalt bind them for a sign upon thine hand, and they shall beas frontlets between thine eyes.
9 And thou shalt write them upon the posts of thy house, and on thy gates.

Deuteronomy 6:20 And when thy son asketh thee in time to come, saying, Whatmean the testimonies, and the statutes, and the judgments, which the LORDour God hath commanded you?
21 Then thou shalt say unto thy son, We were Pharaoh's bondmen in Egypt;and the LORD brought us out of Egypt with a mighty hand:
22 And the LORD shewed signs and wonders, great and sore, upon Egypt, uponPharaoh, and upon all his household, before our eyes:
23 And he brought us out from thence, that he might bring us in, to giveus the land which he sware unto our fathers.
24 And the LORD commanded us to do all these statutes, to fear the LORDour God, for our good always, that he might preserve us alive, as it isat this day.
25 And it shall be our righteousness, if we observe to do all these commandmentsbefore the LORD our God, as he hath commanded us.

Deuteronomy 21:18 If a man have a stubborn and rebellious son, which willnot obey the voice of his father, or the voice of his mother, and that,when they have chastened him, will not hearken unto them:
19 Then shall his father and his mother lay hold on him, and bring him outunto the elders of his city, and unto the gate of his place;
20 And they shall say unto the elders of his city, This our son is stubbornand rebellious, he will not obey our voice; he is a glutton, and a drunkard.
21 And all the men of his city shall stone him with stones, that he die:so shalt thou put evil away from among you; and all Israel shall hear, andfear.
22 And if a man have committed a sin worthy of death, and he be to be putto death, and thou hang him on a tree:
23 His body shall not remain all night upon the tree, but thou shalt inany wise bury him that day; (for he that is hanged is accursed of God;)that thy land be not defiled, which the LORD thy God giveth thee for aninheritance.

Matthew 18:1 At the same time came the disciples unto Jesus, saying, Whois the greatest in the kingdom of heaven?
2 And Jesus called a little child unto him, and set him in the midst ofthem,
3 And said, Verily I say unto you, Except ye be converted, and become aslittle children, ye shall not enter into the kingdom of heaven.
4 Whosoever therefore shall humble himself as this little child, the sameis greatest in the kingdom of heaven.
5 And whoso shall receive one such little child in my name receiveth me.
6 But whoso shall offend one of these little ones which believe in me, itwere better for him that a millstone were hanged about his neck, and thathe were drowned in the depth of the sea.
7 Woe unto the world because of offences! for it must needs be that offencescome; but woe to that man by whom the offence cometh!
8 Wherefore if thy hand or thy foot offend thee, cut them off, and castthem from thee: it is better for thee to enter into life halt or maimed,rather than having two hands or two feet to be cast into everlasting fire.
9 And if thine eye offend thee, pluck it out, and cast it from thee: itis better for thee to enter into life with one eye, rather than having twoeyes to be cast into hell fire.
10 Take heed that ye despise not one of these little ones; for I say untoyou, That in heaven their angels do always behold the face of my Fatherwhich is in heaven.

Matthew 21:15 And when the chief priests and scribes saw the wonderful thingsthat he did, and the children crying in the temple, and saying, Hosannato the son of David; they were sore displeased,
16 And said unto him, Hearest thou what these say? And Jesus saith untothem, Yea; have ye never read, Out of the mouth of babes and sucklings thouhast perfected praise?

Mark 5:39 And when he was come in, he saith unto them, Why make ye thisado, and weep? the damsel is not dead, but sleepeth.

Mark 7:10 For Moses said, Honour thy father and thy mother; and, Whoso cursethfather or mother, let him die the death:
11 But ye say, If a man shall say to his father or mother, It is Corban,that is to say, a gift, by whatsoever thou mightest be profited by me; heshall be free.

46 Where their worm dieth not, and the fire is not quenched.
47 And if thine eye offend thee, pluck it out: it is better for thee toenter into the kingdom of God with one eye, than having two eyes to be castinto hell fire:
48 Where their worm dieth not, and the fire is not quenched.
49 For every one shall be salted with fire, and every sacrifice shall besalted with salt.
50 Salt is good: but if the salt have lost his saltness, wherewith willye season it? Have salt in yourselves, and have peace one with another.

Mark 10:13 And they brought young children to him, that he should touchthem: and his disciples rebuked those that brought them.
14 But when Jesus saw it, he was much displeased, and said unto them, Sufferthe little children to come unto me, and forbid them not: for of such isthe kingdom of God.
15 Verily I say unto you, Whosoever shall not receive the kingdom of Godas a little child, he shall not enter therein.
16 And he took them up in his arms, put his hands upon them, and blessedthem.

Luke 7:11 And it came to pass the day after, that he went into a city calledNain; and many of his disciples went with him, and much people.
12 Now when he came nigh to the gate of the city, behold, there was a deadman carried out, the only son of his mother, and she was a widow: and muchpeople of the city was with her.
13 And when the Lord saw her, he had compassion on her, and said unto her,Weep not.
14 And he came and touched the bier: and they that bare him stood still.And he said, Young man, I say unto thee, Arise.
15 And he that was dead sat up, and began to speak. And he delivered himto his mother.
16 And there came a fear on all: and they glorified God, saying, That agreat prophet is risen up among us; and, That God hath visited his people.

Luke 8:40 And it came to pass, that, when Jesus was returned, the peoplegladly received him: for they were all waiting for him.
41 And, behold, there came a man named Jairus, and he was a ruler of thesynagogue: and he fell down at Jesus' feet, and besought him that he wouldcome into his house:
42 For he had one only daughter, about twelve years of age, and she laya dying. But as he went the people thronged him.
43 And a woman having an issue of blood twelve years, which had spent allher living upon physicians, neither could be healed of any,
44 Came behind him, and touched the border of his garment: and immediatelyher issue of blood stanched.
45 And Jesus said, Who touched me? When all denied, Peter and they thatwere with him said, Master, the multitude throng thee and press thee, andsayest thou, Who touched me?
46 And Jesus said, Somebody hath touched me: for I perceive that virtueis gone out of me.
47 And when the woman saw that she was not hid, she came trembling, andfalling down before him, she declared unto him before all the people forwhat cause she had touched him, and how she was healed immediately.
48 And he said unto her, Daughter, be of good comfort: thy faith hath madethee whole; go in peace.
49 While he yet spake, there cometh one from the ruler of the synagogue'shouse, saying to him, Thy daughter is dead; trouble not the Master.
50 But when Jesus heard it, he answered him, saying, Fear not: believe only,and she shall be made whole.
51 And when he came into the house, he suffered no man to go in, save Peter,and James, and John, and the father and the mother of the maiden.
52 And all wept, and bewailed her: but he said, Weep not; she is not dead,but sleepeth.
53 And they laughed him to scorn, knowing that she was dead.
54 And he put them all out, and took her by the hand, and called, saying,Maid, arise.
55 And her spirit came again, and she arose straightway: and he commandedto give her meat.
56 And her parents were astonished: but he charged them that they shouldtell no man what was done.

Luke 9:46 Then there arose a reasoning among them, which of them shouldbe greatest.
47 And Jesus, perceiving the thought of their heart, took a child, and sethim by him,
48 And said unto them, Whosoever shall receive this child in my name receivethme: and whosoever shall receive me receiveth him that sent me: for he thatis least among you all, the same shall be great.

Romans 9:4 Who are Israelites; to whom pertaineth the adoption, and theglory, and the covenants, and the giving of the law, and the service ofGod, and the promises;
5 Whose are the fathers, and of whom as concerning the flesh Christ came,who is over all, God blessed for ever. Amen.
6 Not as though the word of God hath taken none effect. For they are notall Israel, which are of Israel:
7 Neither, because they are the seed of Abraham, are they all children:but, In Isaac shall thy seed be called.
8 That is, They which are the children of the flesh, these are not the childrenof God: but the children of the promise are counted for the seed.

2 Corinthians 12:14 Behold, the third time I am ready to come to you; andI will not be burdensome to you: for I seek not yours but you: for the childrenought not to lay up for the parents, but the parents for the children.

Ephesians 6:1 Children, obey your parents in the Lord: for this is right.
2 Honour thy father and mother; which is the first commandment with promise;
3 That it may be well with thee, and thou mayest live long on the earth.
4 And, ye fathers, provoke not your children to wrath: but bring them upin the nurture and admonition of the Lord.

Colossians 3:20 Children, obey your parents in all things: for this is wellpleasing unto the Lord.
21 Fathers, provoke not your children to anger, lest they be discouraged.

1 Timothy 3:1 This is a true saying, If a man desire the office of a bishop,he desireth a good work.
2 A bishop then must be blameless, the husband of one wife, vigilant, sober,of good behaviour, given to hospitality, apt to teach;
3 Not given to wine, no striker, not greedy of filthy lucre; but patient,not a brawler, not covetous;
4 One that ruleth well his own house, having his children in subjectionwith all gravity;
5 (For if a man know not how to rule his own house, how shall he take careof the church of God?)

Titus 1:5 For this cause left I thee in Crete, that thou shouldest set inorder the things that are wanting, and ordain elders in every city, as Ihad appointed thee:
6 If any be blameless, the husband of one wife, having faithful childrennot accused of riot or unruly.
7 For a bishop must be blameless, as the steward of God; not selfwilled,not soon angry, not given to wine, no striker, not given to filthy lucre;
8 But a lover of hospitality, a lover of good men, sober, just, holy, temperate;
9 Holding fast the faithful word as he hath been taught, that he may beable by sound doctrine both to exhort and to convince the gainsayers.
